This is my first time posting to the all new Oncourse. The new format is intimidating... but here I go.
mom- I have a 15 year old daughter that runs me ragged. She is old enough to be involved in way too many activities yet young enough to need a ride to and from all of them. I love my daughter with all of my heart and sacrifice grades/study time/my life in general to be with her often.
.
wife- I have been married for 9 years. My husband is a mechanic... anyone need their car worked on?
animal lover- We have two big dogs and one cat in my house right now. Thankfully the house is big enough for all of us.
chocolate lover- I will eat almost anything that contains chocolate. Unfotunately, my love for chocolate has wreaked havoc on my size. My husband tells people I think chocolate is fiber and I need lots of it to survive. :)
show choir mom- one of the activities my daughter is involved in is the show choir at Edgewood High School. She is in all three of the show choirs. I help all that I can... I am truly addicted to the show choir life. We put on an awesome Christmas show... let me know if you want to come to the show, I will get you tickets!
music lover- I like most kinds of music except classical... it tends to put me to sleep. I like country, rock, pop, rap, and hip hop. I took my daughter to see the EMINEM concert this summer. My daughter is an awesome singer. I have a demo CD if anyone wants a copy.
traveler- I love to travel to new locations. Last year I was able to go to Washington DC (with my daughters band), Los Angeles (with my daughters show choir), Caribbean cruise (just me and my husband got away for this one). Next year I will travel back to the Caribbean (a girlfriends cruise) and to France with my daughters French class. Who knows where the show choir will take us...
organizational freak- I love my Franklin Covey planner. I don't use it as I should sometimes because I get too focused on one task. It disturbs me to not be organized. Some of my co-workers might not agree by looking at my desk but I know what every pile in my office contains.
